Unexpected Surprise at Breakfast

The breakfast buffet was a delightful start to each day, with a variety of both local and international dishes that never failed to impress. Staff were friendly and attentive, making the dining experience enjoyable.

However, I did face some issues with the WiFi connectivity in my room, making it quite difficult to get work done during my stay. A bit frustrating, but overall manageable.

We enjoyed our stay in a Club King Room, and the views from the 18th-floor lounge made our meals truly special. The indoor pool and relaxation area were perfect for unwinding after a busy day exploring the city. Only minor hiccup was that a couple of reception staff seemed a bit aloof, but it didn’t ruin our fantastic experience. 😊

Packed with surprises – Good and Bad

The location was superb, with access to the bustling CBD, shopping, and nearby parks. The wellness center and fitness facilities were exceptional too, offering fantastic services to unwind.

The breakfast area tended to be overcrowded, and the long wait mixed with high expectations left me disappointed during peak hours. The room I stayed in felt quite outdated for the price.

The room was spacious and impeccably clean which made for a comfortable experience. The bathroom layout was impressive with a designated shower and tub area, making it easy to keep everything tidy. I particularly enjoyed the city view from my room. it added a nice touch to my stay.

The pillows had a strange smell, slightly affecting my comfort overall.

The lobby of Kerry Hotel, Beijing By Shangri-La is beautifully decorated with inspiring artwork, and the accessibility features made it easy for me to navigate throughout the hotel. The staff were incredibly attentive, ensuring my comfort during my stay.

More seating in common areas would be appreciated.

I had a fantastic stay! The Club lounge was exceptional with friendly staff like Tingfei, and the food selection during breakfast was just delightful. However, the room photos didn't quite match the actual decor, which was slightly different but still nice. I would definitely choose this place again!

Perfect for a solo traveler

The fitness center is HUGE! Never felt crowded, always got to work out! And the staff were just friendly, after a few days, they really got to know me and said hello when I walked by.

It wasn’t exactly cheap, but it was still acceptable.

Comfortable room, excellent breakfast, the breakfast features a wide variety of both Western and Chinese options that exceeded my expectations, and the location is just a 5-minute walk from the nearest subway station for easy city exploration.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

My stay at Shangri-La in Beijing exceeded my expectations. The comfy bed and spacious room made up for the slightly outdated decor. The breakfast offered good choices, and the proximity to metro lines was convenient. Friendly service left a positive impression despite a few reception staff not being cute.

Had an amazing time with friends! The gym was fantastic, and we enjoyed a quick workout before relaxing by the pool. The complimentary mini bar was a nice touch, and breakfast had a great variety. I recommend trying the cycling-connected blender for smoothies! Just a heads up, be cautious of private car drivers outside as they might charge more than a regular taxi.

The few language barriers with reception staff made communication difficult at times. It was a bit challenging to get assistance, especially when we needed directions.
